Deprag’s air drills suit various applications

Deprag’s pneumatic hand-drilling machines are reliable choices for a variety of drilling needs in the aerospace, automotive and machine building industries. With air drills, there’s plenty to choose from in terms of model, speed, power and size. Usability and ergonomics have been taken into account in all models.

Air drills with a pistol grip handle are easiest to work with at a horizontal drilling angle. Lightweight pistol drills are available in many different models, with speeds from 350 to 17,000 1/min. Drills are equipped with a key chuck or a quick change chuck.

Straight air drills, on the other hand, work best for vertical drilling. The machines are equipped with a collet or a drill chuck (⌀1–6 mm), depending on the size. The machines are available for a wide range of speeds, from 600 to 20,000 1/min.

Deprag manufactures pneumatic angle drills with up to 80 mm drilling capacity and clockwise or bidirectional rotation. The machines can be used for tapping and boring. Most models have a feeding screw to feed the drill. Deprag also has a range of small angle-head drills that can be used in confined spaces.

Robust tappers for industrial applications

Deprag’s high-quality pneumatic tappers are well suited for both tapping and cleaning threads in metal materials. The company’s tappers are highly durable and long-lasting tools, even in demanding environments such as the automotive and machine building industries.

Pneumatic tappers are available as a pistol grip or straight design, which means it is easy to find the right type of machine for various applications, for both horizontal and vertical working angles.

All Deprag’s tapper models are designed with ease of use and ergonomics in mind. The power-to-weight ratios of the machines are also carefully optimized. The rotation direction can be reversed easily either by using the trigger (pistol grip pneumatic tappers) or by lifting the machine (straight tappers). The standard chuck on Deprag’s tappers is a flexible collet that perfectly guides the tap-insert. The product range also includes a quick-change chuck for which adapters with a torque switch are available.
