Pneumacon supplied screwing automation solutions to Nokia’s Rusko factory to boost base station production. Now that the line has been used a little longer, Ville Rauman – who is the expert responsible for the maintenance and development of the automatic line – tells us more about Nokia’s experiences.

Recently, Pneumacon delivered screwdriving equipment for contract-based manufacturing specialist Eino Korhonen OY, for their EKOY Elektroonika factory in Estonia. This was Eino Korhonen Oy’s largest ever investment in automation.

Nokia’s Rusko factory in Oulu manufactures base stations and has continued to do so despite the more inexpensive production costs in low-wage countries.
